Mobility Scooter Hire

Due to popular demand we are now able to offer mobility scooter hire to people visiting Eastbourne.

The minimum charge is £55, that covers 5 days hire and then £10 per day thereafter. If you require the scooter for less than 5 days the cost is still £55

The price includes £2.000.000 public liability insurance so if you hit someone or something you are covered up to that amount. £100 excess charge applies.

A £100 deposit is payable in advance and will be refunded once we have the product back in the condition it was hired out in.

The maximum user weight of our scooters is 23 stone, please do not exceed that limit.

Most hotels will allow you to store and charge the mobility scooter in their premises but please do check with them first. Price includes delivery and collection to the hotel you are staying at.

We hire 4 mph pavement scooters as pictured to your right and we also offer portable scooters that can be taken apart to fit in a car.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

We want you to enjoy your break, we treat people fairly, unfortunately in the past we have had problems that cost us a lot of money and we cannot sustain that, we stopped hiring out mobility scooters because of the problems we had. Due to so many people asking us we decided to give it another go as we don't like to see people struggling to find a mobility aid to enjoy their holiday. Accidents happen, all we ask is that you are honest with us if anything happens. The hire cost includes 2 million pounds public liability insurance. If the scooter is stolen you are liable for the £100 excess cost charged by our insurers.

A £100 deposit is payable in advance and will be refunded once we have the product back in the condition it went out in. Deposits will be refunded by bank transfer.

You must take reasonable care of the product you hire. Any damage to the product will be charged to you (up to a maximum £800). If the battery charger is lost there is a charge of £40. In the event of the product breaking down you must call us on 01323 301101 and we will attend as soon as possible to repair or replace the product. The product must be left in the condition it was delivered in, clean with no rubbish left. If the product is returned in a poor state there will be a £40 valeting fee. Lost keys will incur a £10 charge. The scooter will be supplied with a tiller cover to protect it in the event of any rain, please use it, failure to do so could damage the scooter resulting in charges to repair it. The hirer or 1 named person is the only person allowed to use the product, please do not use a mobility scooter whilst under the influence of drink or drugs. If the product is stolen you must notify the police and obtain a crime reference number and tell us as soon as possible, a £100 excess charge is payable by you if the scooter is stolen so please keep it safe. The £100 is the excess charge is what our insurers charge us.
